Curt has been a long-time supporter of EAA’s Young Eagle Program. Launched in 1992 the Young Eagle program has dedicated more than 25 years to giving youth ages 8-17 their first free ride in an airplane.
It’s the only program of It’s kind, with the sole mission to introduce and inspire kids in the world of aviation.

Community Foundation of Sarasota
Since 1991, Curt has been an active supporter of the efforts by the Community Foundation of Sarasota. Founded in 1979 by the Southwest Florida Estate Planning Council, the Foundation has been making the important connection between individuals’ personal memories, passions and dreams and the fulfillment of their charitable goals. What resonates most highly with Curt is the motto of the goals - “Be the One”- as it reflects their belief that anyone can be a philanthropist and give back to the community regardless of means.
